The guys did a great job moving our furniture into our home. They the truck was loaded nicely, furniture was wrapped and protected, and I was able to dedicate time to other things while they were getting the job done. A few things to note, the weekend was quite expensive and the military discount is only 5%. There is a $150 travel fee and I felt rushed to get started. Overall, I am happy with my experience.

Giovanni and his crew were phenomenal! They moved us on the last day of February and nothing was bent, chipped or broken like when we used past movers. They were prompt and on-time. The professionalism we received from the beginning during our assessment to day of move was great. Boys worked hard and quickly, but were careful and caring of our stuff. Although labor costs have gone up quite a bit in the last year, it was well-worth the peace of mind and extra help my husband and I needed for this move. We plan to settle where we are for a while but if we ever need professional movers again we plan to go with Tidal Town Moving. Thank you again for your help!

Despite being placed in a difficult situation, they showed great resilience and communication while navigating EXTREMELY large, solid wood, king size bedroom furniture set pieces out of one home and into another up a flight of stairs that pivot midway. I am extremely grateful to them for their perseverance, careful handling, and personability through this process. 10/10👏🏼 Please stay safe and I wish you both the best!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼Another mover was requested day of, but was denied. Before move, I was told over the phone rate is “$/hour at minimum of 2 hrs” and “a king sized furniture set from Virginia Beach to Chesapeake should not take more than two hours” (it took >4 hrs) and ”we don’t recommend a third mover unless any of the pieces over 500 pounds”— what about staff safety and time efficiency? Oop— forgot those things weren’t profitable 😬Initially I thought, “How are — never mind, they’re the professionals.” Had I known better, I would have been adamant for a third mover to reduce cost (I ended up paying DOUBLE the estimate) save time, and most importantly, provide adequate support for the safety and wellbeing of the moving crew and of clients belongings. Tighten up, Tidal Town.

I’ve used Two Men and A Truck as well as All My Sons to move within Hampton roads, and it cost nearly 3k each time! Tidal Town packed me up and moved me from VB to Richmond for the same price. Everyone was professional and courteous. My belongings were packed and wrapped very well. Would use them again.

Contacted Tidal Town to help move some equipment for the Neptune Festival Parade. As always, they were timely, cost effective, and very professional! Sean, Matt and Mitch helped us figure out how to safely move and mount large benches onto one of our floats. They made sure not to disturb any of the other equipment in the area and saved us time and effort! When it comes to moving equipment, furniture or even large items like these benches, don't take the risk of using untrained day labor. Do it right the first time by using Tidal Town Moving! We'll be using them again for our next project.

The guys not only protected all my stuff super well but in my mind they went above and beyond in speed and efficiency. The guys didn't scratch a single a surface at either house and we're extremely professional. After that experience I don't think I'll ever move myself again. The same company packed for us and did an amazing job. The pricing was super fair and took a tremendous load off our back while trying to close on one house and get into another. I'll recommend these guys to anybody moving from here on out.

You obviously might get a little nervous when you hear a “hourly rate” and then thinking that the company might take the extra time to milk it. When I tell you, these guys were basically running to unload everything especially up three flights of stairs that’s exactly what they were doing. Nazir, Jamal and Jeremiah (sorry if I spelled it wrong) were absolute professionals, and if I ever need any kind of moving done ever again, they are the first people I am calling. I also had a 14 foot kayak that they relocated no less than 10 times in order for me to be able to store it. If you don’t go with this company, you’re definitely going to overpay and not get the people that it takes to handle your things with care and handle your time with care which is something to be said in this day and age

They made my move so easy, and an overall amazing experience from start to finish. I spoke with Rusty, who was so kind and very willing to help me. He was very transparent with pricing, and made sure to let me know how everything works. I was so nervous, but his kindness really helped me explain what I needed and when. Very easy, and stress free. I have to say my movers Jarick and Jaaziah were PHENOMENAL. They were professional, fast, and so kind! They came in and immediately got to work, and it was so fast it made my head spin (in a good way!). They were so efficient, and handled everything with care despite how quickly they moved it all. I’m so grateful to them, and how seamlessly they got everything done. It truly was worth every penny! Words can’t explain how happy and truly grateful I am for all their help today, and from now on I’ll be recommending them to everyone I know. For a first time mover, they really took care of me and that is so important to me when it comes to business. Thank you guys for everything today! Truly fantastic service from start to finish.

I recently moved from Tampa, Florida to Virginia Beach and hired tidal town moving company to unload my pod and into a moving truck and then into my storage unit. I want to give a huge thank you to the three men who help me.— Kris, Jaaziah, Jarick.From the moment they arrive, they were professional, punctual, and extremely hard-working. They loaded and stacked the truck with incredible precision— truly like a puzzle. Coming from a fully furnished four bedroom, three bath home, I had a lot of belongings, and even though it appeared, the truck may have been a 20 foot instead of a 26 foot I requested, these guys still managed to stack everything perfectly almost like a pyramid. They made the absolute best use of the space.When we arrive at the storage unit, they unload everything with the same level of care and organization. My storage unit is packed, neatly, safely, and professionally, and I could not be more pleased with their work.Thank you so much, Kris, Jaaziah, Jarick—you all did an outstanding job.The only Con I experienced was the additional fee for using a debit card. If you prefer to avoid extra charges, you may want to check into other payment options that the tidal town moving company offers.Overall, I highly recommend this team. Their professionalism and work ethic made a stressful move. Feel a whole lot easier.

I hired Tidal Town after I had a bad experience on the phone with another moving company who wouldn’t give me necessary information prior to having me put down a non-refundable deposit. When I called Tidal Town, I spoke with Rusty. He answered all my questions and booked me for the first available time frame. We ended up having a scheduling hiccup and Rusty and the manager were able to help me get a different date and time that worked out well.Today, right around 10:30am I received a call and text from Kris and Jose that they’d be at my place right on time. From the moment they called, to the last item of furniture, working with them was so easy and such a breeze. They took really great care of all of my furniture and items. When they were packaging my items, they ensured that everything was safely covered and wrapped securely in moving blankets and plastic wrapping. Once we got to my new place, they unloaded everything so quickly and placed it all where I needed it to be.I’ve never hired movers before and I can say that overall, I am so impressed with my moving experience with Kris and Jose and I’d hire them again if I needed. I also recommend them to anyone who is looking for movers and aren’t sure who to choose. I was nervous to have someone move my stuff based on reviews I was reading when researching and how other people’s experiences were.I made the right choice. Best moving experience ever.
